How to Be A Star

By Bruce Edwin

Those of you reading this that hit the nightclubs, know how there is often a long line to get in the more popular ones. If you're like me, you do your best to bypass the line and go to the front and be among the first to get in. Often times, however, club promoters will deliberately make people stand in line, when the club inside is totally empty, just to give the appearance to others they hope will join the line that the club is popular and packed. When the first few club kids 'lucky' or 'connected' enough to get in first get inside, they often find a completely empty or near empty club. All they were waiting for was an empty room with some cool lighting and hopefully decent music. The same is true of many 'red carpet' events in Hollywood, where publicists hold up lines like a field general, marshalling in the lucky or connected few that get to pass beyond the red velvet ropes. For the red carpet, at least this can turn into some publicity which has a monetary value. For the high priced clubs, the value is primarily in feeling important, and being entertained. That last line is one I want you to think about for a moment longer. People want to feel important, and that's why those who fight, beg, bully, or bribe their way to the front do so with such fury. They feel if they are in the door first, then they are not merely important, but that they are 'somebody' and someone very important.

Bruce Edwin - Manager of Michael Jackson Guitarist Reports He Called Dr. Conrad Murray Evil

Michael Jackson Guitarist Called Doctor the ‘Evil Conrad,’ Said People Were Trying to Make Michael a Zombie to Get his Money - Reports Bruce Edwin

(Los Angeles, CA, October 2nd, 2011) Bruce Edwin- the talent manager for one of Michael Jackson’s star guitarists- whose client David Williams played such
famous riffs on “Beat It,” “Billy Jean,” and “Thriller,” among more, provides testimony today concerning his client David Williams and the facts behind the murder
of The King of Pop.

Michael Jackson guitarist David Williams and his talent manager Bruce Edwin exchanged hundreds of phone calls and e-mails months prior to the super stars
death, many concerning Michael Jackson's comeback tour, and Michael’s addiction. They were also working on staging an intervention to save Michael. As
week two for the murder trial of Michael Jackson continues, with Conrad Murray the main one accused, Starpower Management LLC CEO Bruce Edwin states,
"Michael was always there for my client David." Now, we all need to continue to be there for the spirit of Michael with some justice. He would have wanted that.

Bruce Edwin states, “Michael's guitarist David Williams told me that there were some bad people that had gotten their hooks in to Michael, that had surrounded him, and were trying to control him and make him a zombie, so they could control him and take all of his money. There was more than just the doctor, David told me. A key name that was always told to me was the housekeeper – the Nanny.” Bruce Edwin reveals.

“David Williams told me that there was this evil housekeeper and evil doctor getting Michael hooked on pills and drugs and shooting him up, and turning him in to a zombie. He said that the family was trying to stage an intervention. He told me when the family would call Michael, the housekeeper would not let them talk with him, and
sometimes, she would even just pick up and hang up the phone. The doctor is also behind it, he told me, but it’s the housekeeper, the nanny that is doing it, he said. They are trying to brainwash him, David Williams told me. He said they won’t answer the door when the family tries to visit, and they have armed guards, David said. So no one can get to Michael – not even his own family, he said. That doctor and housekeeper are doing this - That’s just not right, he stated. We need to do something."

Bruce Edwin spoke at the funeral of his friend and client David Williams in Virginia in early 2009. Around six months later, he attended the repass for Michael Jackson. “These rotten people got them both,” he laments. “But I know that justice will prevail.

RON MEYER left C.A.A., to become president of UNIVERSAL STUDIOS, where he is still throned, as one of the world’s most powerful entertainment industry players. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ronald_Meyer

“It’s not that I haven’t misbehaved, it’s just that I haven’t got caught,”
Mark Woolley recently told The Hollywood Sentinel. Born and raised in Great Britian, MARK WOOLLEY, renown as one of the worlds greatest masters of Shakespeare, first appeared on stage in London at the age of 14 with the Royal Court Theatre. Two years prior, he learned guitar which led to his world tours with numerous bands. He later stormed television in the U.K. with his critically acclaimed appearance in the Battle of Bosworth. He leaves next week for a cross country tour starting in Florida.

Enjoying Ron Meyer’s expert advice, Mark Woolley recalls what the veteran recently stated, “I still believe that people will watch T.V. and go to the movies,” Ron Meyer conveyed, concerning the move of entertainment in to digital and internet platforms. Mark Woolley concurs. “I finally just got a My-Space page last week, after the prodding of my manager,” he confesses. “What I truly love however, is film and that whole movie going experience.”

After relocating to Los Angeles from London to appear in the hit indie film “Little Indiscretions” with sexy actress and Maxim cover model Diane Farr,

Mark Woolley took a break from more Hamlet and sexy starlets to compose music for P.B.S., as well as numerous video games with fans of their own.

Regarding foreign money coming in to Hollywood more than usual these days, Mr. Woolley, now also producing, learned this from Universal President’s Ron Meyer, “All of us welcome the right money on the right terms,” Meyer states.
And that is something we can all agree on.

September 2008

PUBLISHER BRUCE EDWIN REPORTS MOVIE STAR KATIE HOLMES
WILL TAKE NEW YORK CITY / BROADWAY BY STORM

Manhattan, New York, Movie Star KATIE HOLMES, voted in her earlier career as the “Best breakthrough female performer” by Mtv, had her first film audition at age 17. But even before that, reports Hollywood Sentinel Magazine Publisher Bruce Edwin, she acted in a myriad of classic plays. Her new legendary feat brings her full circle back to the stage – Broadway.

The Hollywood Sentinel reported on the official opening night of the Broadway revival “All My Sons” written by literary icon Arthur Miller, that it says will rock New York City October 16th, which will co-star Katie Holmes, in what critics are hailing as one of the most exciting supporting roles to be seen on stage.

Bruce Edwin reveals, “With nearly every movie Katie Holmes has ever appeared in doubling its profit or even greater, thousands of fans are expected to be lined up in Times Square just to catch a glimpse of this beautiful screen actress, who quit modeling because she wanted something more challenging,” states Mr. Edwin, who also manages models and talent in Hollywood. Tickets are already going fast.

Bruce Edwin continues, “Now, with rumors that Katie’s husband TOM CRUISE and his friend WILL SMITH, the two biggest movie stars in the world, will be attending several of the nights of this highly anticipated event, city officials may be considering a request by neighbors to close off the avenue. Organizers have already been asked to move the play to a larger facility that can better handle the massive crowd of fans.”

After Bruce Edwin made this observation, it was later reported that the pre- opening of the play for the media already had hundreds of Katie Holmes fans mobbing the sidewalks to try see this young woman known as one of the prettiest and kindest superstars in Hollywood. October 16th should be daunting.

Bruce Edwin is a film producer, A-list talent manager, and publisher of The Hollywood Sentinel, an entertainment magazine and upcoming website.
